Dr. Holly Killman grew up in both Dallas and northern Michigan, and completed her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at Michigan State University. She has loved animals since childhood and worked in veterinary clinics, volunteered at shelters and horse barns, and rode along with a house call veterinarian prior to veterinary school. After graduating in 2008 Dr. Killman spent three years as a veterinarian in the U.S. Army and then moved to the Mansfield area where she has worked in both emergency medicine and at a busy small animal practice in Dallas before joining Gully Animal Hospital in 2016. Her interests include soft tissue surgery, feline medicine and emergency and critical care, however she enjoys all aspects of medicine from puppy visits to helping animals age with dignity.
When not at work she is involved in her church, loves soccer, reading and spending time with her husband, her two busy girls, her two spoiled cats Bandit and Junior, and her sweet energetic Rhodesian Ridgeback Elsa.
